Project Overview

Ackerman & Co. needed more than another collection of property photos and videos. Its marketing teams needed high-quality visual content that could remain organized, accessible, and useful long after production was complete. Through LongShots Media, I produced two professional digital content libraries designed to give Ackerman's teams a centralized, easy-to-use destination for property photography, video, drone media, and other marketing assets. The engagement combined commercial content production with creative operations, vendor management, stakeholder coordination, and digital asset organization.

The Challenge

What needed to change

Producing the content required coordinating multiple people, locations, schedules, and creative disciplines across a multi-day production. The work involved collaboration between Ackerman & Co. associates, on-site building staff, property stakeholders, professional photographers, drone operators, and additional production vendors. Each contributor played a different role, but the final content needed to feel like one coordinated body of work. There was also a larger challenge beyond production: traditional commercial productions often conclude with a download link or large folder containing hundreds of files, leaving marketing teams responsible for organizing, locating, previewing, and reusing everything later. I wanted the final delivery to function differently.

The Strategic Solution

Building the system

Through LongShots Media, I approached the engagement as both a content production project and a digital content system. I developed and managed a multi-day production schedule covering photography, video, and aerial content while coordinating access and production logistics with Ackerman associates and building staff. I also coordinated outside creative vendors, including professional property photographers and drone operators, ensuring each contributor understood the production requirements and how their work fit into the larger project. PRE-PRODUCTION — Production planning, scheduling, location coordination, stakeholder communication, creative requirements, vendor coordination, and equipment preparation. PRODUCTION — Managing the multi-day schedule, coordinating people and locations, overseeing creative coverage, solving production issues, and ensuring the necessary visual assets were captured. POST-PRODUCTION — Reviewing and organizing deliverables, coordinating final assets, and preparing the media for use inside the content-library system. DIGITAL DELIVERY — Building customized digital content libraries that transformed the finished production assets into organized, accessible marketing resources. The engagement ultimately resulted in two professional digital content libraries. Rather than forcing the marketing team to navigate disconnected folders of media, each library was designed around usability. Photography, video, drone media, and other assets could be presented within an organized interface that made it easier for marketing teams to understand what content was available and locate what they needed. The libraries were customizable, allowing the experience to reflect the needs of the individual property or project rather than relying on a generic file-delivery system. The workflow shifted from: Produce → Upload Files → Send Download Link to: Plan → Produce → Organize → Present → Reuse The project also required me to operate beyond my role as an individual content creator. I was responsible for coordinating the people and resources necessary to execute the production, including Ackerman associates, building staff, specialized photographers, drone operators, equipment, access, schedules, creative requirements, and final deliverables.

Key Result Metrics

Measurable impact

More importantly than simply delivering new media, the project transformed a temporary production into a longer-lasting marketing resource. Instead of the value ending when the photographers and production team left the property, the finished assets became part of an organized system Ackerman's marketing teams could continue accessing and using. The result was two customized digital content libraries containing professional commercial property photography, video marketing assets, drone photography and video, and organized marketing-ready media presented through a centralized interface designed to make future asset reuse easier.
