How I Used Take Pics Here's Photo Location Finder to Speed Up my Sales Cycle

Updated: May 5

"Hey Lance, I am looking to book some Fall Portraits for my kids this year, where can I find the best Fall Foliage?" This is a question that was recently asked to me by a client. The first thing I did was ask for their home location and then opened up the TakePicsHere App on my phone. I typed their location into the finder and found a list of nearby locations to choose from.

Take Pics Here Speeds Up Sales Cycle

Based on my 10+ years of experience as a pro photographer in Atlanta, I already knew where the best bloom would be. What I did not know, was the client's location and how far they were willing to travel for their shoot.

Easy to Archive & Share Photo Locations

Once I had a list of locations to choose from, I sent screen shots over to the client. Within each screenshot, was the location name and a couple of photos to show the location's characteristics. After a few minutes of back and forth dialogue, a location was picked and a deposit was made.

Streamline Client Communication

What used to take literal hours of back and forth dialogue was streamlined into a 5 minute conversation. Ultimately speeding up my sales cycle. Simply Being able to suggest locations nearby my client's home location is an awesome feature of the app and is enough to make me a lifetime user.
